Fotokalendern app for iPhone and iPad

"Fotokalendern" (The Photo Calendar) has been created to provide people with communicative disabilities the opportunity to participate and be active by telling others about their day. Fotokalendern can serve as a support for narratives. It can also function as a support for remembering what you have done, finding words and / or producing a coherent narrative.

All photos and videos taken with the iPad will automatically be transferred to the Fotokalendern and sorted by date. You can delete images in the app without them being deleted in the camera roll. You can also add pictures and movies manually.

Fotokalendern is designed with focus on simplicity in design and functionality.

The app is created and developed at the "Center för kommunikativt och kognitivt stöd", Landstinget Uppsala län, Sweden.

Functions:

Calendar with support for both month and week view.
Coloured days according to the Swedish colour coding system.
Slide show of the chosen days photos with text, text to speech and recorded sound.
Modified swipe that prevents too fast swiping.
